We want to take a few moments to say Merry Christmas, and to thank you for your faithfulness in prayer and finances this past year. It may seem like a cliché but we definitely couldn’t do what we do without your love and support.

This year has been a wonderful year for our ministry and family, with a few “bumps” along the way. We’ve traveled to Nepal, Singapore, Malaysia, Myanmar, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, New York, and Wisconsin, then back to Nepal, to name a few places. We’ve logged thousands of air and car miles, and had the privilege of ministering to many people. We took our daughter, Jessica, with us to Nepal in February, to the Midwest in April, September and October, and then moved her into her own home as soon as we returned. Mike traveled to Singapore, Myanmar, and Malaysia alone in June, and got a parasite that made him extremely ill, but kept up his preaching schedule the whole time. Only God is able to give us the grace and strength to accomplish all we did this year. We are continually in awe of His blessings in our lives!

A couple of personal notes – Jessica is doing wonderfully in her new apartment. Thank you for praying! She loves her staff, and they love her, and she’s settled in nicely.

We are also expecting, any day now, the arrival of our first granddaughter, born to our youngest daughter and her husband. We are all eager to meet her “face to face” and look forward to many years of joy and blessing from her.

Our next trip into Nepal will be on January 30. Please pray for us as we prepare for the trip, for all the “details” to come together, for the finances for the trip, and for a sensitivity to the Holy Spirit as we minister.

One more “housekeeping” note – if you plan to give to New Life International Ministries, and want your donation to be counted towards this year’s donations, please be sure that your mail is postmarked by December 31st. Anything postmarked after must be included in next year’s donations. We would appreciate it if you would think of us for your year-end giving.

Our prayer for you this Christmas season is from Ephesians 3 – that you would be strengthened by the Holy Spirit, that Christ would dwell in your hearts through faith, and that you would be rooted and grounded in His love.
