2 Chronicles 29:28 – “The whole assembly bowed in worship, while the singers sang and the trumpeters played.”

This has been one of my favorites since I started leading worship. The reason it sticks out to me so much is that it says, “WHILE the singers sang and the trumpeters played” not “BECAUSE the singers sang and that trumpeters played.” The point of worship is not the music. Far from it. We believe that good music comes out of good worship, not the other way around.

Our worship services emphasize getting ourselves into a spiritual place where we can experience a connection to our Father in Heaven so that love can travel from us to Him and from Him to us. Worship is a time to tell God how much we love him and praise him for everything He is. We believe that worship is a prime opportunity for God to move by His spirit and give healing and strength and hope and power to His people. God changes us in these times, and that is the reason for our ministry.
